3M 823i Car Warning Marking, set with 2 marking film rolls red/white

3M™ 823i vehicle warning marking is a high intensity metalized, flexible prismatic vehicle marking film for retroreflective vehicle markings according to DIN 30710. It is designed for use on painted, clean, smooth, non-porous and weather-resistant surfaces and provides excellent visibility of commercial vehicles, emergency vehicles and containers. Series 823 is used as an alternative to earlier 3M Scotchlite High Intensity Grade red/white vehicle warning markings.

Applications

• Retroreflective warning markings for trucks and trailers according to DIN 30710
• Marking of vehicles with special rights, e.g. winter service, street cleaning, service and emergency vehicles
• Marking of containers, equipment and stationary installations to improve conspicuity
• Use on flat and moderately curved, painted and smooth substrates

Application limitations

• Not intended for regular regulatory traffic signs
• Use on stainless steel substrates is not recommended
• Do not apply over rivets, seams, hinges or overlapping substrates
• Do not stretch the film during application and do not overlap film joints

Standards & classifications

• Intended for retroreflective vehicle markings according to DIN 30710
• Retroreflective performance meets or exceeds EN 12899-1:2007 requirements for Class RA2 materials
• Vehicle marking film with retroreflection level equivalent to class RA2, C when used in accordance with the relevant DIN standards
• Suitable for marking vehicles with special rights under § 35 (6) StVO (depending on national regulations)

Cleaning and maintenance

• Clean with liquid detergents that are suitable for high-quality painted surfaces
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or strong solvents; cleaner pH between 6 and 8
• High-pressure cleaning: max. 80 bar, max. 60 °C, minimum distance 1 m, spray angle approx. 15° to the film surface, wide fan jet
