Castrol Magna SW DX 68 is a slideway oil (ISO VG 68, CGLP, ISO-L-G, CLP/HLP related requirement coverage) based on highly refined mineral oil with an EP and lubricity additive package, designed for the lubrication of horizontal and vertical slideways and guideways on machine tools where strong demulsification and stable glide behaviour are required.

Product description
Castrol Magna SW DX 68 is formulated to provide constant glide behaviour, strong adhesion, wear protection and corrosion protection on machine tool slideways. Its demulsifying behaviour helps reduce mixing with water miscible cutting fluids and helps support long coolant service life. The product is also intended to reduce stick-slip movement and improve machining accuracy.
Handling & storage
- Keep the container tightly sealed.
- Store in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Prevent exposure to frost and avoid water ingress.
- For optimum product stability, store indoors between 5°C and 45°C.
