DOWSIL™ 993 (formerly Dow Corning DC 993) is a two-part, neutral-curing silicone sealant for façade construction (structural glazing). It is mixed at a 10:1 ratio.
- Pack size: Set with 545 g cartridge (base) and 2 x 30 g tubes (hardener)
- Also available as: 675 ml repair-kit dual cartridge
Applications
- Structural glazing (SNJF VEC + VI-VEC), bonding of glass, metal and façade components
- Impact-resistant window systems (new build & retrofit)

Processing

- Airless mixing in 2-part dispensing systems; use approved 2-part hand cartridges only
- Usually primerless; project-specific adhesion tests recommended
