Hylomar Hylogrip HY5177 medium-strength thread sealant 50ml

Hylomar HYLO®GRIP HY5177 is a medium-strength, high-viscosity pipe thread sealant based on anaerobic methacrylates, PTFE-modified. It seals and secures metal threaded connections reliably and is resistant to water, gases, brake fluid, oils, hydrocarbons and many chemicals.

Applications

• Sealing and securing metal pipe threads in hydraulics, pneumatics and industrial equipment
• Connections exposed to vibration: fittings, couplings and adapters

Features

• Medium strength (DIN 30661 level 2) – serviceable and removable
• High viscosity; fills gaps up to 0.20 mm
• Resistant to heat, corrosion, vibration and common media
• Solvent-free; flash point >100 °C

Application & Safety

• Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from grease (e.g., acetone); wet threads thoroughly
• Wipe off any excess before curing with a solvent cloth
• Shelf life: 18 months from manufacture at ≤25 °C (unopened original container)
