Sikaflex®-112 Crystal Clear is a one-part, multipurpose transparent adhesive and sealant with good initial grab. It bonds and seals most construction material substrates. For internal and external use. Suitable for hot and tropical climatic conditions.

Technical specifications

How to use

• Yield per cartridge: ~100 spots (Ø 30 mm, thickness 4 mm) or ~15 m bead (nozzle Ø 5 mm)
• Use closed-cell polyethylene backing rods for joints
• Joint width: 6–20 mm with 2:1 width/depth ratio; ≤10 mm joints are for crack control
• Ambient / substrate temperature: +5 °C to +40 °C (≥3 °C above dew point)
• Substrates must be clean, sound, dry, free of dust, oil, grease and loose particles
• For optimal adhesion and durability, primers and cleaners (Sika® Haftreiniger-1, Sika® Primer) may be required on certain substrates (e.g. metals, coatings)

Processing Instructions

• Apply directly from cartridge – ready to use
• Application with manual, pneumatic or electric guns (e.g., 310 ml dispensing gun)
• Use of suitable nozzles recommended (e.g., standard nozzle)
• Cures at room temperature in the presence of humidity
